The PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) is returning to the glitz and glam of Las Vegas this November and bringing with it a $5,300 buy-in Main Event featuring a $3 million guaranteed prize pool. As was the case in 2024, the luxurious Resorts World Las Vegas is the venue for the ten-day poker spectacular.

Will the Inaugural PokerStars Open Las Vegas Break Records?

Running from November 3-12, the 2025 edition of the PokerStars NAPT Las Vegas should be huge. The festival marks the first time PokerStars has run one of its Open events in "Sin City," and it has the potential to break records. Since their launch, the PokerStars Open events have obliterated their guarantees.

The PokerStars Open Campione Main Event drew in 2,423 entrants, resulting in a €2,326,080 prize pool, more than twice the size of the advertised €1,000,000 guarantee. It was a similar story in Philadelphia in April, with the 1,154 entrants creating a $1,107,840 pot when $500,000 was the guaranteed amount.

More recently, the €1,100 Pokerstars Open Monte-Carlo Main Event attracted 2,387 players who fought it out over a €2,291,520 prize pool. Knowing how Las vegas residents love mid-stakes tournaments, PokerStars Open Las Vegas should prove extremely popular.

$3 Million Guaranteed in the NAPT Las Vegas Main Event

Just as the PokerStars Open is concluding, the $5,300 buy-in, $3 million guaranteed NAPT Las Vegas Main Event explodes into action. Last November, a field of 895 entrants, including 352 re-entries, built a prize pool worth $4,340,750. Seven of the final tablists walked away with six-figure sums, including the worthy champion, Nick Marchington, who padded his bankroll with a $765,200 haul.

With satellites and freerolls available on PokerStars' US, Ontario, and global online poker platforms, the 2025 NAPT Las Vegas Main Event should see similar, if not better, numbers in a few months' time.

PokerStars Shows More Support For Women's Poker

PokerStars is increasing the guarantee on the $330 buy-in Women's Event following its year-on-year growth in this tournament. Women from far and wide will take to the tables and fight it out in a battle of wits for the lioness' share of a $50,000 guaranteed prize pool, up from $30,000 in 2024.

Additionally, a $1,100 buy-in Women's High Roller is also planned, bringing even more women together at the NAPT.

Maria Konnikova is one woman who is highly likely to appear at the 2025 PokerStars NAPT Las Vegas festival. Fresh from winning her first "Spadie" and second PokerStars title at EPT Monte-Carlo, the PokerStars Ambassador has a spring in her step and is ready to compete for more honors on US soil.
