2024 WSOPC Tallinn Ring Event Results

The 2024 WSOPC Tallinn was an incredible experience for everyone who competed. Twelve players returned home after a long grind with a coveted gold WSOPC ring in tow and with their names written into poker's history books.
The Festival Series founder, Martin von Zweigbergk, triumphed in the €350 8-Game event, banking €8,020 and a WSOPC ring. The man affectionately known as "Frankie" was a popular champion and will likely be one of the favorites to add to his WSOPC hardware collection in 2025, thanks to the series featuring a €555 Sviten Special event.
Several players won prizes worth more than €50,000. Germany's Phil Gross banked €55,210 after coming out on top in the €555 No-Limit Hold'em tournament, while Finnish grinder Roope Tarmi won the €3,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed event for €64,000.
Lithuanian star Aurimas Stanevicius was the festival's biggest winner, as you would expect from the Main Event champion. Some 1,130 entrants, including re-entries, created a €1,052,352 prize pool, of which Stanevicius collected €167,600 after a heads-up deal with Norway's Espen Sandvik (€152,900).

- As an alternative, a joker can successfully fill the space left by a missing card if you're almost ready to form a sequence. Jokers must be used carefully, though, as if you keep them for too long, you risk missing out on opportunities if your opponent declares Rummy before you have a chance to use them all. Success in Dragon Tiger Rummy depends on your ability to recognize patterns and sequences. Throughout the game, as players draw and discard cards, certain patterns may show up that can help you adjust your strategy. 25-06-01
- Observing the suits can also assist in locating possible sequences that might still be accessible. Even though it might seem difficult at first, regular practice will improve your ability to quickly recall card information, which will ultimately improve your gameplay. A crucial element of many card games, such as Dragon Tiger Rummy, is bluffing. Even though it might not be as obvious as in poker, subtle bluffing can affect your opponent's choices & give you the upper hand. 25-06-01
- When a player declares Rummy, it means they have successfully made valid combinations with every card in their deck. Points are determined by the number of cards left in each player's hand when they reveal their hands at this point. Numbered cards are valuable for their face value, but face cards have higher point values. Players must be aware of these guidelines in order to play the game efficiently and make wise choices. It takes a combination of analytical thinking and flexibility to develop a winning Dragon Tiger Rummy strategy. 25-06-01

- Although card counting is frequently linked to games like blackjack, it can also be used successfully in Dragon Tiger Rummy. Players can improve their ability to predict which cards are still in play by keeping track of which cards have been played or discarded. With this information, one can make better choices when selecting cards from the pile or determining which ones to keep. In order to become proficient at Dragon Tiger Rummy card counting, players should establish a methodical strategy. Since these are essential for creating sets and sequences, begin by mentally noting the high-value cards that have been thrown away. 25-06-01
- While the remaining cards make up the draw pile, each player is dealt a predetermined number of cards, usually seven. In order to enhance their hands, players alternately draw from the draw or discard piles. Completing sequences (three or more consecutive cards of the same suit) and valid sets (three or four cards of the same rank) is the main objective. 25-06-01

- Throwing away cards that could give your opponent the impression that you are pursuing a specific combination when you are actually working on something completely different is one efficient bluffing tactic. Discarding one of your many hearts could give the impression that you are committed to that suit, even if you are actually attempting to form a sequence with spades. This could lead them to keep some cards they think will help them beat you, which would eventually let you finish your actual combination unhindered. 25-06-01

- Focusing on creating sequences early in the game is one efficient strategy. Since they can hold a larger variety of cards, sequences are typically more adaptable than sets. You can finish a sequence, for example, by drawing a 4 or 7 of hearts if you have a 5 and a 6 of hearts. Setting sequence priorities can also help you maintain flexibility for future turns. 25-06-01
