Day 33 of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas saw three more bracelets find three more wrists.
The biggest story of the day was Michael Mizrachi winning the $50,000 Poker Player's Championship for the fourth time. This achievement — four victories in arguably the most prestigious event at the World Series of Poker — is unique. It also shunted Mizrachi into the similarly rarefied class of seven-time bracelet winners.
Meanwhile Yilong Wang won his first bracelet in Event #68: $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em, Alexander Wilkinson built upon a family legacy by winning Event #71: $10,000 2-7 Triple Draw Championship, and elsewhere at the series tournaments were playing out.

Going into Day 4 of play, Shiina Okamoto remains in control of the Event #70: $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship, maintaining the chip lead she has held since Day 2.
With just seven players left from the 1,368-strong field, and 7,500,000 in her stack, Okamoto is closing in on back-to-back wins and her second bracelet. She is the defending champion in this event, and came second in the 2023 edition.
Juliet Hegedus is Okamoto's biggest threat in this endeavor. With 5,600,000 in front of her, Hegedus is the second biggest stack at the table. She also starts tomorrow seated in Okamoto's big blind, ensuring a clash between these big stacks.
Stephani Hagberg (4,575,000) is just behind Hegedus in third place.
On the way to the final seven several big names exited on Day 3. Among them were Ruth Hall, Tamar Abraham, Allyn Shulman, Angela Jordison, and Poker Hall of Famer Barbara Enright.
The whole table will be hoping to grab the $184,094 first-place prize, culled from a prize pool of $1,203,840.

The Event #73: $1,500 Eight-Game Mixed is down to 14 players from a total field of 789 entries.
Narcis Nedelcu leads the final 14 by a solid margin, but below him, the standings are tightly packed.
Nedelcu has 3,225,000 in chips. Below him Walter Treccarichi (1,955,000) is in second and Jonatas Freitas (1,805,000) follows in third. The pair have-one-and-half big bets dividing them. The next six players all fall within a range of 2.5 big bets. Just a couple of small hands could drastically change the standings at the top of this event.
Getting down to 14 players was a brutal business.
A total of 167 players survived from Day 1 and only 119 placed were paid. Some notables who didn't manage to cash include Carol Fuchs, Brian Yoon, Mike Matusow, and Daniel Negreanu.
A few who exited with a little something for their trouble were Chad Eveslage (93rd - $3,007), Barry Greenstein (72nd - $3,158), Barny Boatman (59th - $3,325), Ari Engel (31st - $5,185), and Brian Hastings (21st — $7,707).
The 14 survivors will be back at 1:00 p.m. local time. They will play until a winner is declared, and PokerNewswill be on hand to provide updates.

There may only have been two previous editions of Event #67: $300 Gladiators of Poker No-Limit Hold'em, but still, this year's is the biggest yet.
As the action closed on Day 1d the tally had reached 24,629 total entries to the event (8,485 of which came from the final day).
Of the 342 survivors from the fourth and final starting flight of the event, some notables were Hall of Famer David Oppenheim (1,330,000), Roland Israelashvili (1,030,000), Max Kruse (835,000), and previous bracelet winners Jeremy Pekarek (355,000) and Alexandros Kolonias (345,000).
They will join an 812-player-strong Day 2 field at 11:00 a.m. today, when PokerNews's traditional live coverage of this event begins.

Day 1 of 4 is over for Event #74: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship. A total of 793 players entered the event, and 294 found a bag, putting $6,133,950 in the prize pool
Netherlander’ Javier Francort is in the chip leader with 556,500 in chips. Ben Lamb is in a close second with 484,500. They are both hotly pursued by Brandon Crawford with 455,500 in third.
Plenty of big names shelled out for the event. Robert Mizrachi (377,000), brother of Michael, and high roller Michael Rocco (368,500) both made it into the top ten.
Further down the list players like Alex Foxen (367,000), Kane Kalas (345,000), Ryan Riess (251,500), Ryan Hoenig (237,000), Stephen Chidwick (226,500), Erik Seidel (209,500), James Obst (179,000), Jeremy Ausmus (136,000), and Erick Lindgren (114,000).

Sunday, June 29, is Day 34 of the 2025 World Series of Poker and it comes with two more bracelets to be won.
The first bracelet is forEvent #70: $1,000 LADIES No-Limit Hold'em Championship, which starts late in the day with the final table shuffling up and dealing at 4 p.m.
A live stream will follow with a one-hour delay at 5:00 p.m. on PokerGO.
Secondly, Event #73: $1,500 Eight-Game Mixed returns with 14 players still in contention at 1 p.m. As with the Ladies Event, the Eight-Game Mix is scheduled to play down to a winner today.
The $300 Gladiators of Poker's remaining players are combining for Day 2 at 11 a.m. Bringing the 812 survivors from the massive starting field of 24,629 together for the first time.
Javier Francort leads the Event #74: $10,000 Pot-Limit Omaha Championship when it returns at 1 p.m. He is joined by 294 other Day 1 survivors for Day 2.
Last but not least are the two new events that kick off. At 10 a.m., the epic Event #75: $1,000 Mini Main Event kicks off with the first of two starting flights. The usual live reporting on this event starts on Day 2.
Then at 2 p.m, the Event #76: $2,500 Mixed Big Bet starts. This event is scheduled to run for for three days.
